This is a question regarding the forums.

I wish to display an image in one of my threads, but I do not know how to.
I tried using the "IMG" button, but because of the fact that the JPG file is on my HDD and not uploaded to any URL, this doesn't work for me.
Is there a way i can upload the JPG file, to be displayed in my post?

You could attach it to your posts, if it isn't too big (i.e. <200kb).

Alternatively, you could find somewhere/somebody willing to host the image for you.
