Make gorge a one time upgrade, at start of the game you spend 10 res to gorge and after that gorgin is free, this means that early on aliens cant own the entire map but later on the RTS dont cost 25 res each
Ghozer
nice idea, though i think FREE would be a little harsh, maybe 1/2 price (5 res to gorge)

OR, make it hive dependant, 1 hive = 10 res, 2 hive = 5 res, 3 hive = free biggrin-fix.gif

Well hive dependent wouldnt do much, since if you need to go gorge and drop Rts, that means you guys already lost way too many Rts, and thus you dont have 2 hives, otherwise you would have been able to defend those Rt's more. With two hives all the rts inbetween (at least 3-4) should be capped, and 4 rts is a decent amount for 8 players or so.

So Id rather go with a set amount of resources needed after the first time gorging. Something like maybe 5 to gorge afterwards or something. However it should never be free.
AvengerX
maybe just lowering the gorge cost to 7 combined with the highered spit would make the gorge a more affordable maybe even combatable alien lifeform

It might help in putting back up lost RT's and not make it AS devistating if aliens lose their RT's..
Zek
It's not a bad idea, but personally I prefer the solution of simply making them cheaper. If they were free, there would be no sting to dying as a gorge except for the loss of 30 seconds of time.

Anything that promotes people going gorge to place RT's or chambers is a good thing in my opinion. Half the time when an alien team loses its because no one wants to "waste" that res to go gorge and drop something useful.

I say thumbs up.
