Ya, so this is something ive been working on for a week or two. Then hurican season started and i havent have much time or electricity to continune till now. So i wanted to get some reactions on it. All oppions please be truthfull and critical.

thank you for takeing the time to look at my map and giveing feed back
here is a site with all my images. most will probly be relly dark as this is beacuse i dont fix them there just stored there

i like it, but the comm chair area looks a bit crampt, mebe making it slightly higher. And in the first pic mebe u cud make the red lights in the strip cast light.

Also are u using tex lights or just light ents??

Looks a bit dark overall. Try setting your env_gamma to a higher value. The second screenshot is the best. The first is a bit boring imo. So once again, try playing with your env_gamma smile-fix.gif

I really like the use of textures you have, amybe some more architextural details, since you donīt have that high r_speeds in some areas and it will be great ^^

try using tex lights instead where u can, it will make the lighting seem more real (once u have the hang of using them)

I really love dark levels, so this grabs me straight away. I particularly like this recent shot of the industrial gritty looking corridor, it reminds me of old skool ns biggrin-fix.gif

It would be cool to put loads of hidden vents and access tunnels around the level too. You could put a vent or tunnel in, which has lights far apart from each other, so you'd go through a dark bit, and then get to a light bit, and then go through a dark bit again, if you get my drift.

Anyway, you got a layout or anything we can see?

yes i have a lay out but im quite lazy ill get it done before class and post it tonight on the other hand the vent system im have few vents personaly my style of mapping in my oppion every thing must have a purpose or be semi realistic like a vent going around the corrner for beter ambushing is dumb beacause they wouldent do that in real life i am adding vents but not a bunch i dont want a nancy system going on thanks guys for the compliments im gonna keep working on it

i LOVE it, it's a really good darkish, evil, nasty, SCARY environment, just what ns needs, i'm a bit worried about the space though, i don't think onos will easily fit through most of those corridors =)

the onos fits through everything with out crouhcing some areas he cant jump very high but what does a onos need to jump for like when he jumps its basicly like taping crouch (fallowing statment only protains to the areas includeing cuved doorways)

samejima plays the skinflute a bit too much. I've ran through the early parts of this map, was pretty good. Whoever said he needs more architectural detail needs to smarten up :/

i really like this map and ur style, i hope u'll be posting more screenies to keep us updated with ur progress, and hopefully i'll be able to play it soon

thanks for the motovation/compliments right now im redoing a big part of the map so i can make more detailed rooms ( changeing a room or 2 to better atmospher and vis ) then i still have another half a map to finish then sounds ect but i dont expect much longer theres allways that link i gave before i put screenshots of test biulds on there that i dont post here if your intrested
