After Steam updated itself, i now can only play ns about 1% of the time. When i click on a server to join it, the ping goes from normal (20-100) up to about 1000, then maxes out at 2000. Anyone have the same problem?

dude, I am having the same exact problem. As well as the problem of my ping in-game being stupidly high when other half-life mods ping at 40. (compared to 200-1000).

I don't know if we have the same problem here. When i play NS the ping goes up to like 2000 and the game kinda freezes for 1-5 sec.
