Okay, I downloaded all 3 of the beta patches, NS3 Beta, NS3 Beta 4, NS3 beta 4a. I also installed all of them. Than i try to play on a server and it says FATAL ERROR!: Couldn't open ns2.wad. What DO i dooo? Where do i install the patches to? Help please! Thankies

First things first, but I'm sure you've tried it. Delete the NS install from your steam folder, then install everything. Make sure its in the right order. If that doesnt work, find the NS2.wad online in the mapping forums, and replace the ns2.wad in your NS folder with it.

Thats all I can think of, if you still cant get any help, you should try the tech forums.

Alright yes thank you that worked, but now I have a new problem. When I try to join a sever the whole game freezes, and it boots me out of the whole game and returns me back to desktop. Anyone know what to do about that? Please respond if you do. Thankies!! <('_'<)-(>'_')>

Can be a driver issue, post your hardware specifications.

are you running any addons or plugins?

Ok use the search function on your PC and search for 'nsp'

If it comes up with more than one folder, you've installed it incorrectly.
