very simple question, do weapon upgrades effect grenades in co/ns or has anyone ever heard of a plug in that does this becuase I was under the impression that it doesn't but sometimes I doubt it.

I believe the weapon upgrades effect all weapons. Let me read through the manual... brb.

Even mines and welders get upgraded? I'm pretty sure knives don't get upgraded. When weapons are at Level 3 does that mean it adds with Levels 1 and 2 so the total is a 60% boost? Or does it just add 10% each time...

It's DEFINATELY not all weapons. I am practically positive the knife is unaffected.

You can fire up a server yourself with mp_drawdamage "1" and see for yoursefl too.

More specifically:
YES for Pistol, LMG, Shotgun, and HMG.
YES for Grenades. (direct hit; splash is hard to test)
YES for Welder.
NO for Mines.
NO for Knife.
NO for Turrets. (This is listed as a bug in the database, and probably should be 'yes')

The %age increase is also different. I read a great post listing all the numerical details, but I cant find it.

well upg are simple really.

weapon..............lvl 1.................lvl2.............lvl3
pistol.................22...................24..............26\

hmg...................22...................24.............26/
gl.......not sure..............................................
sg......................180..................200.........220.( all pellets hit)

turrets do get upgrades, but they work only for one shot. they they get back to lvl 0 upg.

weapon upgrades effect everything that uses bullets (including the turrets!) so true turret farmers wuv lvl 3 weps

btw i think lvl 3 gl is 224? i dont really know so cheak out the ns damage simulator

edit again; mines DO get affected by wep upgrades... lvl 3 mine is leathel 2 anything

cool I learned something new, so getting lvl2 weps before shotgun does not prohibit me from getting a GL, good to know. And mines are suddenly so much more useful...
