I have Half Life, I downloaded NS, set it up etc. But I have little experience in running HL based games online..

So how would I find purely NS servers? If there are certain constant dedicated servers how do I find them?

go to the menu, select internet game, then go to "filter", select the game "ns" to filter, then go back to the multiplayer game's list and choose "update"

I saw that, couldnt see "NS" in the filter bit

Try this if you cannot filter for ns.

I have the same problem...
I launch the game, i goto multiplayer>internet and the "logging on to valve" stay for about 10 seconds and finally i enter into the servers'list stuff... i push the update button and nothing happen...
When i go to filter "are running game" only show ns and half-life in the list (i have other mods installed of course).

In the main menu when i go to "custom game" nothing appear...no mod  appear.. i push the refresh button and mod that i don't have appear...
It's really strange because it seems to be a random error..

anyway i found a (fuckiXX) fix---> i go to the half-life menu and i launch hl.exe manually it works but i don't have console or stuff like that...
I hope this will be corrected soon because it really XXXX
