Will removing textures help machine perfromance? They are already part of the model ingame aren't they?

you mean the V_ models right? like the ones you see in your hand well i suggest you get the doom pistol and doom shotgun so atleast youll have something to look at and those are pretty much the same as looking at a blank model

Sometime in the near future im going to make some low poly p&ws. Think box low poly biggrin.gif. i also suggest using counterstrike v models. If you like contact me and ill send you the cs v mdls i used to use. All the animations are timed right. No hv though, but meh. If you want msn,pm or email me.

Wait, wait, I got it. How about some very, very low end models. I'm talking old school early arcade days. I'm talking one poly for the torso one for the head 2 for legs and 2 for the arms of the marine. And such. You know how low poly the original asteroids was? Think old arcade type NS. Do that and you'll get yourself an Old School Cookie.

BTW this isn't a flame to you Kitki, you just gave me an idea.

You know what would be fun? NS sprite weapons. Take screenshots of the NS weapons and turn them into sprite weapons. Low poly while keeping to the theme and look.

8-bit NS? wink.gif

Srites would be cool.. really awkward though.. XD
