I got Natural Selection, It seemed like a very popular mod. When i got it running, i wanted to see how it works. When i tryed to play it, it said that it doesnt support software mode,but thats all i use! can anyone tell me how to solve my problem?

He's right. i can't remember quite why but i don't think NS will run on software mode.

Due to some visual exploits I guess... Seeing the cloacked aliens for example...

What video card do you have?

its probebly old, i got it like ... i remember i got it when i played the first red faction demo, does anyone remember when that was? lol tounge.gif

1)try figuring out if you have a video card or if your video is onboard and update the drivers accordingly. 2)make sure you have the latest version of direct x 3)as suggested above, try using opengl.

Be sure you have the most updated drivers for your video card, obtained at the manufacturer's website. I know from experience that my old ATI Rage 128 Pro (don't make fun sad.gif ) could not run NS at all, but once I updated the drivers I had much better OpenGL support.

update: sorry for being absent for a LONG time, but i got direct x, and updated my driver, it works perfectly, thank you all smile.gif
