Whenever i press my left control button, i duck (binded) and walk backwards (unbinded)

I have tried "unbind ctrl" and it stops ducking, but i always walk backwards

It happens on all the other HL mods.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

if it hapens in all mods it sounds like there is an isue either physicly with your keyboard or with software.

Posible things to try:
grab a second keyboard, if you can, and try that out
change drivers (see if you can find drivers for your keyboard)
poke around with various windows settings to see if you can find some where that would have caused your ctrl key to be bound to something else at the same time....

i've had it before, but i can't remeber how i got rid of it, sorry.

i dont think its my keyboard because whenever i play Call of Duty, it doesnt do anything

Where can i find drivers for my keyboard, it says "COMPAQ" on it =o

go to start >> settings >> keyboards.

or just set your controls by defualt, and then re do them

setting my controls to default doesnt work =/

my walk backwards key is s, but whenever i press left control it walks backwards too. When i try to unbind control, i just don't crouch and i still walk backwards
