I'm new to the server gig and need a little help with tournament mode stuff.

I've figured out how to run the cal config files using admin mod's "admin_cfg calns.cfg" but my real question is how do I restart rounds? I tried "admin_restart #" and also "sv_restartround #", all these seem to do is say "Crymsen executed admin_restart" and now actually restart the round. I loaded the CS plugin in admin mod since it had a restart function, but didn't seem to help.

TIA, Crymsen

I believe the command you are looking for is "sv_restart 1"

Why do you need to restart rounds? Once the server (or league) config is executed it starts over anyways.

I tried that, when I execute command, nothing happens. From being on previous servers I remember it dropping you back in your spawn, as in you knew it restarted. I put in command, and hit enter, nothing happens, no error message.

I tried putting it in ingame console, direct server console, and hlsw. All did the same thing. :/

As to the restart on config, it doesn't. I executed the cfg change in the middle of a game and it didn't restart. It just changed the variables, like team damage and such.

Am I missing something? confused.gif

Change the map, rcon exec calns.cfg, and you're all set.

There is no command in NS to restart a round. Why do you want to anyway? Just goto readyroom then rejoin teams..

And no plugins are allowed for CAL matches, only Metamod for loading Cheating-Death on Win32 servers. No adminmod, AMX, etc.
