title says it all, i forgot to back them up, where can I get them back at? do i have to redownload the whole ns again or just one of the patches and which one? kthx

if you just delete them then when u connect to a server you will redownload the files you need.

Longer than DLing it from a website? (I know it depends on the connection, but it's just as fast for me to get it off a server than from a site like NSA.)
Just find an empty server if you want to do it that way.
Meh, guess it's just me, but I get a much slower connection through Half-Life than off of the web.
Surely, you can't download at 800k/s directly from a Half-Life server... at best, you would probably get 8k/s.

yep... but now HL (or better Steam) supports webdownloading via HL itself. So if the server owner set up webdownloading you'll have the same speed as downloading it directly from the page as in fact you *do* download it from there.
