i can not for the life of me set gamma above 3. i can set it anywhere betwee 1 and 3, and i believe it defaults to 2.5. any help people?

Try the actual brightness/contrast knobs/buttons on your monitor?

not positive but it might have been locked in one of the recent versions.

run the gama tweak tool (I think you need the 2.0 installer for it as I think it is not in the 3.0). If run properly then you should have no problems.

Make sure your NS versions are up to date, first of all. Also, try changing the gamma from the console if you haven't already. If that doesn't work, it may be worth the try to reinstall NS and Steam and try from there.

i have always had this problem, and just 3 days ago i did a new install. in options the gamma bar is all the way to the right, and in the console i can only change it to something below 3.


completely up to date ns version, otherwise i couldnt play on any servers.
