Well when I started to install Natural Selection, (which I have played under my friend's Steam ID) it worked fine. But when the screen is just about ready to go into a game it gives me this error: "Software not supported by Natural Selection"
So what do I do? Help me!

try setting your video to either d3d or GL. Software mode isn't supported by NS.

well im sry to say, but this is really happening to one of my friends.....and he doesn't know how to change his video....and really i got more then enough on my hands to figure it out......so if someone could help out with that thanks.

don't use servers in steam to connect, instead use the game function in steam to start the HalfLife game. then go into options, video. and set your renderer to openGL. Exit HL and start up ns. ns should then be in openGL too.

I would reinstall the game beta1 along with the beta4 and beta4a patches, should work fine.
