it just started recently, and its driving me nuts.

ok, whenever i do something, with the keyboard, move, use, show map, make a sound, i jump... i jump and then do the bind dosent do it with the mouse, just the keyboard, heres a list of commands

Delete......................use
end..........................drop
home........................map
insert........................taunt
numpad 1 2 3 4.........swich weapon
A W E R D F..............make noise, talk
backspace................flashlight
enter........................duck
shift..........................Jump
CTRL.........................walk

every time i press one of thise buttons i jump, and i recently installed the expansion packs for total annihilation, and i updated my radeion 9200 gfx card

oh yeah, i tried restarting comp, steam, and no change

try turning numlock off :O

Sounds like a tech-support issue, not a bug.

goto the console and type:

bind del

or any other of those keys and make sure (for delete) it only says +use.

If you played on a server with a very abusive admin they can use a command to rebind all ur keys.

I think maybe an admin abused you. Check your nsp folder for any .cfg files that shouldn't be there, and open up the .cfg files to check if their working properly. (Binds are all correct etc)

Sometimes I just think it's wrong that admins can control your stuff. All they do is something like "admin_<something> <player name, ip , steam id or whatever> unbindall, exit, gg, and so"

True, truth is tho that not all admins do this. If you connect to a server that does let admins do this there should be a disclamer about this in your console. Pull it up after you connect and check for "this server allows the admin to make changes to your config" messages and disconnect if this bugs you. There are always othere servers with people who won't mess your config over.

Yeah the good old numlock makes me jump issue.

It happened to me in 4 different patches in cs and ns (not the current one strange enough).
Everytime when i played AND hat a 3rd party voicechat running AND hat numlock on (not all 3rd party voiceprogs, but definitely RW had that poblem)

I never understood how numlock could interfere with a game and the arrow keys and a 3rd party prog in that way.

After some tests here is what happens (at least for me) when i use some keys, the key SHIFT is triggered too, for me it's +back, for you it's +jump :<
Really strange, playing ns with verr num disabled solved the problem

the input type of all doubled up keys on the keypad changes depending what state numlock is in.

if its on, 8 would = keypad_8... if its off, the same button would = keypad_uparrow or something similar. same goes for del, ins and the other numbers. the state of numlock has always affected half life in my experience, since i used to use a similar key layout, before i saw the light in WASD layout
