Marines
-Run.
-Scream like a little girl over VC when something scares you.
-run very fast away from skulks....well anything over lvl 1, or a lvl 1 itself.
-Hide by the CC, it provides protection, and its warm and fuzzy.
My guide to be a pansy marine, just like I am during playtests. But sometimes I might go outside the base, sometimes. But If you guys arnt good at combat like I am, stay by the base and build for your commander, unless he orders you somewhere else.

Nice Fox!
Seriously though, obeying your commander's orders is absolutely essential. Remember, if you anger the commander, he might not give you any weapons later in the game!

It's a decent tactic, it's something I've been pondering on myself.

Uhhh.....I might take a different approach.....but I like the "listen to your commander idea."

So, we're all under heavy attack in the Holo room when we start to retreat back to Reception. Greyfox runs out, 'screw you guys' and shuts the big blast door behind him. '###### Burke, err, Greyfox! Open this door!' Needless to say we were slaughtered. So it was definitely enjoyable to relish the Onos that came up behind him and slaughtered him in a seemingly painful fashion.
See, you, too can live out some of the many amazing scenes from Aliens.

HAhaha, ahh it's so true.
It'd be cool if the Commanders voice boomed like the Voice of God in everyones ears.

Greyfox thats the best strategy i've ever heard in my entire life, I now apply it to everyday situations like when the teacher asks for my homework.
