In the datacore of ns_shiva I have a very large func_water. This is targeted by a weldable, and makes the water sink. When this happens, some craziness goes on. Most of the water succesfully sinks, but it leaves little bits of itself floating in space above some of the geometry. Has anyone else ever seen this happen/know how to fix it?

I dont recall this ever being possible.. ? maybe you left tiny water brushes there and grouped it with the bigger one =p

I recall func_water not liking weird shapes. Is it just a single, square, convex brush, or is it more complex?
