i'm not a NS noob, but i can't think of anywhere else to post this, and i'm sure you guys have heard this question a few hundred times at least, but here it goes:

WSS - not only do they have a boatload of pre-made sprays (+2000?) they have tutorials on making your own.
Since steam sprays are now called tempdecal.wad not pldecal.wad (the old Halflife way)
http://beerspray.com is all you need make the image and there you go
Once you make the spray and place it in the right place, do you just start a new game and it will be your spray ?

As long as the server has cl_upload 1 on then you can custom spray, may take a few attempts as the server has to download it off your pc.

I was at only one server after i heard from SinSpawn here the pldecal.wad is supposed to be named tempdecals.wad under steam, but it seems it didnt upload
What i got was the small Lambda tag, not the big one but the small crappy one.Am i supposed to put it in the /nsp folder or the /nsp/logos folder?
small lambda tag means either that...
Spray isn't valid (check file size, has to be under 14kb I think)
It isn't a 256 color image
Its x and y dimensions are not divisble by 16

It worked the second time i entered the server.

Be sure you make tempdecal.wad read-only so that it isn't overwritten by anything.
I always get that small logo in the ready room. I join the game and my spray is working
