Anyone in the metro area of Minnesota feel like having a LAN?  

I live in Detroit Lakes Minnesota, does that count?

you live in EP too? sweet! we should definetly get together sometime for some lan action. we'll need at least 6 people (8 is better obviously). we've got 5 so far, including myself.

once we find everyone, we should figure out who is most centralized between everyone and, if possible, have the lan there.

i bet most of the people attending the forums that live in minnesota don't know about/havn't checked the lan section. we should see if a forum admin will let us post osmething about it in a main-stream area to get people in here.

I live in SW minneapolis, not exactly IN EP but close enough, and I would be very interested in getting a LAN going.

I know at least 4 more ppl that would most likely come to the LAN if we had one, so yeah. WOO!

Theres a lan party in the Twin Cities on this Sat. Nov 16 hosted by GeekParty. Its mostly CS but theres gonna be a lot of NS players there. Its 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM at a golf course in New Brighton. The cost is ten bucks if I remember. Theres news about it a www.grapesoda.org in the forums under general discussion. Or you can Email Vitamin at vitamyn@hotmail.com for info. Hurry though because its filling up fast. Im going and i want alot of people there to play some NS with. Tell em BigKev sent you.

arg. i'm gone this weekend. how sad. i might have come. anyway, we should still have one otherwise. some saturday in the next couple weeks. i'm open basically any saturday. what saturdays work for you guys?

I also live in Eagan. I would most likely attend a LAN in the area. Normally I LAN at leats 2 weekends a month just with friends, but big LANs are good too.

I could probably get a large space for about thirty computers or so. The downside is that there will be no internet connection... unless someone has a wireless cable connection they'd be willing to share.

If you're not wary of a medium-length drive, there's 3 or 4 LAN groups in Iowa that throw 60-80 man LANS monthly. Check out www.warningg.com, www.carnagge.com, and www.dsmgg.org for starters.
