On server people told me you need 2000 points and 5 kills to transform to gorgelaus .. that's usually not possible :-)

There is whole seperate forum modns.org for plugin makers, I guess it was put with intent to general ... It's not typical NS customization, it's not anything you can make on your client.. I think it could be at least phased to general, few people read customization..

I was playing on 26ppl server with this plugin, and overall balance was surprisingly good, I didn't see any gorgelaus yet though, it's hard to get it..
Smaller fades and onos models + various skulk armor/spawn times/resource tweaks have positive effect on balance of big servers.

i think this is the BEST thing next to mario pack ^_^ see if you can make the other aliens bigger! it'll be fun ^_^

So the only thing different about that gorge is just it's bigger? Does it have any more health/armor or any different abilites?

BigBull, you should read more about plugin, big gorge is just tiny little "bonus" that almost never happens on server, plugin does many more things that actually try to improve balance on big servers..

yea i tried it out. was having some trouble getting 5 kills since cheats were on and fuzzy was invincible or something and knifed our hive to death. so i never got to be the gorgelaus before i left but i saw a few people as it and it seemed pretty neat.

Got it running on my server, but im not quite sure one how to become that huge gorge, i accumulated oiver 21,000 points and im pretty sure i had more then 5 kills.. what do i need to do to transform into that?

I never figured out how to be megagorge, so I just wrote a plugin (using the gorge bit from this one) called VictoryGorge that just makes you a big freakin gorge with tons of weapons to pwn all turtling marines I like the balance changes in this one tho... but I never could get it to work properly. It would always say the hive was under attack.

Whoever asked about adminmod, no this doesn't work with it. amxmod.net should have some tutorials on how to set it up on a listenserver (any type of server really)

4. alien5.mdl over write at nsp/models/player/alien5
5. gorgelaus.mdl move at nsp/models/player/alien5

That plugin sinply uses a "gorgelaus.mdl" model that you download when you join a server with this plugin.

That's not what the install instructions say. I cut and past them in my last message. See the list 1-5.

There are at least 2 korean servers that are using this plugin permanently, they are listed in modns.org forums linked from inital post.

The gorgealaus was fun to play for about 10 min.

Daddy, these instructions are for server operators only! Do not overwrite your own models!
If you attempt to join on some gorgelaus server, all models will autodownload, don't worry..

Yes they are, the same names. Look at the list I cut and paste from the instructions. It says OVERWRITE. If this plugin overwrites your regular model files that ain't good.

Daddys concerns seem valid to me. The plugin replaces some of the ns files on the server. (modles) Altho i dont belive the server can make u overwrite the clients files, this does raise the issues of what the server gonna do to client if they wont take em. are they even diffrent ?
