Full Version: About Romanos Script
I would like to just say thank you to this person for creatring this script and distributing it...i saw it a while ago but never used it; i always used the regular last inv but lately i have been playing on laggy and laggier servers so i figured what the hey, lets give it a try....thank you very much romano your script works great lag or no lag:) and it fixed a gripe i always had with last inv (the one where it doesnt rememebr you last inv after dying and evolving as alien)

Oddly, I have this same script, and there are times when it will misfire and I'll get the wrong response, or no response at all. Really sucks sometimes. Wish I could diagnose it. It still beats the default lastinv though.
if there is a script to make lastinv client side, why not just make lastinv client side to begin with? It is a great script though, and i too have had it go to the wrong weapon once or twice. Usually happens right away when i only pick one weapon after the starting one. After taht it usually works perfect.
I normaly never get lag but its cool someone has gone to the bother of making this script

Great script, tho it's annoying when u get the knife when you had pistol out last...

hmm thank you for moving it ; i had thought that it should be general bc its not specifically about customizing but just a general thank you for helping the community

This happens when say you went from pistol to knife before you died. When you respawn the two last weapons will still be set to pistol and knife so pressing "lastinv" won't actually work as you expect.
All I do is switch between lmg and pistol the moment I spawn to make sure nothing unexpected ever happens.
I'm pretty sure this is the problem that you are describing and the solution to it.
ppl are using buttons for lastinv?

It switches betweed the two last used weapons.
cant u just bind them with fast switch ?
as a hint to anyone, this would absolutely rule if used in The Specialists (which has no lastinv script 
)

Well, wouldnt be hard to make one, it takes some time though. If you know some basic scripting and check romano's i think you can figure out how it works and make it to suit your needs just fine
Lastinv was put back into the specialists in the last version.
