Well, since 2.01 i am unable to use my mic very often in NS. When i start playing i can use it off and on, but after awhile it crashes. I was wondering if there was some kind of fix for it.

im running a

1.4 ghz p4
512ddr
gf4mx
onboard sound
(old compter, i should prolly just get new one but meh)

It works fine with all other games (even CS, so it's not a HL issue)...
please help >_<

Update Drivers.

drivers are all updated,

crash... ala game freezes at a frame with a repeated sound of what ever was on audio at the time for a long period of time till i hit the windows key and manualy right click / close HL...

this gets so annoying when trying to play games >_<

so there is actualy nothing linking it to your mic?

reinstall NS

Make sure ALL of your drivers are updated (litteraly, brom sound card, to router, to mobo etc).

If you wana test if it is your mic, disable the mic and play, if there is no crash, then ok you were correct, if it still crashes...
