Hello everyone, I'm david from Los Angeles, Califronia. I played NS before, but got out of it. I totaly forgot how to play this game in NS mode... I only remember CO maps. It's good to be back, I still remember how awesome this game was. I can't wait to get back into NS maps.

Hi, im Michael, im from New Zealand, my mate told me to give this a jam so here i am, never played it before but it should be good.

Heya guys, its been a while since ive last played any games (due to studying and all the other things which occupy you after school ), but now ive finally got myself some time and a nice internet connection, and the first thing ive died to play since the release of NS is to play it online. (unbelievable, ey? )
Im from Austria (parents), yet born in Namibia (South Africa) and lived there all my life. Internet is too slow (36kbps in my town) down there, people only played Quake and Counterstrike via LAN and no NS interest. But here in Europe its great! I definately cant wait to start playing, and I can see NS will be my only choice for the next months!! Best game ever!!

Wow guys - NS sure has changed. I'm an oldie back from the NS 1.xx days heh. Ahh I remember the great HMG + Jet Pack rushes. (And the JP's would recharge quicker depending on your refresh rate i think.) Oh yes those were the good ol days.

Looks like i'm a newb all over again. Looking forward to meeting you all in the servers!

My handle is Ruf-Mixa and I am from the great state of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

Ever since I purchased Halflife 2 and saw NS offered only for Halflife 1 I have been unhappy. I loved playing Starcraft and I loved playing Half-life, what a beautiful idea. I get to be one of the lowly marines desperately trying to obey the orders of my commander and achieve victory. Although I have not yet had a chance to play, I already must stop and thank the developers of this mod for their vision.

I am going out to buy Half-Life 1 today. Hope to see you online soon.

Hey everyone. Name's Cunning Stunt as shown over there <- that's my name on steam as well. From fresno CA in USA, 15 years old. Used to go to school with Quaunaut and he told me about the game, been playing ever since, which is actually like 2 years worth of playing, but i'm finally getting my *** over here to resigister

NS is by far my favorite mod, and probably one of my favorite games as well. I'm the sort of player who would rather take part in a (really) long, fair, unpredictable game than just winning in 5 minutes with nothing more than light armor and a light machine gun.

I've been playing at linuxmonster a lot, but I tend to jump around. I've recently come back from not playing for 2 monthes, so I'm once again looking for a good server to start playing at regularly. I'm pretty active as well, so PM me if you're looking for another clan member, or whatnot.

Whats up you all my friend told me about this mod one day and i decided to check out what the whole thing was about and he was explaining to me about how you can be like marines and you have to fight the opposing team and when i found out the other team your fighting are aliens i got to thinking man this mod must be off the hook welp im off to play some NS happy trails ohhh btw i really like what youve done with the site its really cool !

A problem here is that normaly the lag is like 150 or more depend of the server (this is in CS), and my connection speed is 56/kbps. If you have tip for me plz tell me.

Im Left Shoulder new to NS but not to CS i've been playing for a few years most recently on CS:S. I plyed CS for a while at net cafes then bought source for home. i only recently got 1.6 so now im going to try this mod as soon as its downloaded.

The site login has been posted up on several sites. Basically, whoever wants to go on the forums is already on them. So I personally don't think there will be any major increase in community activity once the forums do go public.

Yeah, well it wasn't posted directly after the mail got sent out, and usually people don't sign up four years before they start playing the game

Yeah I guess everyone who just got the game during the last days of the outage was aware of the site login a few days after it was sent out

When I played NS first time on mys cousins pc in 2004 I went mad so I went local pcgames shops and bought the cs cz wondering that I could play NS since cs is a hl mod, unfortunally I was wrong, the next months till jully (I played alot cs (very cool)) I bought Half life and started to play NS, first co was most cool of course but as Im keen on rts I commence to try NSclassic and thats the true essence of NS (in my opinion)...

My familly car is a Chevrolet Corsica 1994 i have a 6 years old girl and a 4 years old boy.

Im a weekend warrior and got into NS by my brother in law.
We have setup our own NS steam server with rcbot and learn all the comm stuff.

I did get an email at my original email with info on the Constellation NS v3.2 beta playtesting with usernames,passwords,sites which I won't say here.


I have been away for awhile playing HL2,HL2 Ep1,HL2:DM,Garry's Mod,TFC and haven't been keeping upto date on the forums but I have been getting emails but when I tried to login that's when all the stuff hit the fan so to speak lol.

Y Hullo Thar, I learned about NS a while ago, but I was too lazy to get into it. A bit ago, I started playing Tremulous(very similar to NS), liked it but hated some of the mechanics/lag from hell. I ended up hearing NS was similar to Tremulous, tried it, and now I'm here.

Fun Game, where can I get better at commanding and how can I move the command view with WASD/Arrow keys instead of always having to move the mouse to the edge of the screen?
