Hello, I am new to the NS forums and I am lacking the rules of NS forums as i had seen earlier, but I am not feeling so bad about it.
I am from Nova Scotia, Canada and I am a regular NS player sence early 1.5 of Counter strike, I am not that new to ns but i am still learning many things. I hope to see many of you around, keep up the good work with the mod.

Hi there! Funnily enough i have been playing ns for 2 years but i hadn't untill quite recently descovered the ns website which was in the process of beeing rebuilt! But now the site up i have learned just how big the ns community actually is! I love the game personally play it every night from the time i get home from work untill about 2 in the morning, mainly because i lose track of time in the game because i find it so much fun!

It is a well made game and my server gets full every night with players wether they are new or been playing ns for years.

i know this sounds funny, but how do i play ns? i already downloaded the game but now i dont know where to go to start it. so plz helps

kablooiedt you need Steam and Half-life 1 to play ns.

Mr Wobberly there are no 'permanent ranks'. In a short combat game (co_ maps) you can get xp and a rank which just gives you more points to spend on equipment for that round.

Oh, those 'ranks' in the forums merely represent post count. Admins can change them or make up thier own aswell

Im new in this forum but not in Natural Selection. Almost 2 years of playing NS. NS team made an outstanding game that took my mind for very long time.

I was luky to live in Russian city that becomes some kind of National NS Centre (well more than half of russian players despite of smal amount registred in NS league are from our city)
And this isn't Moscow. Can you belive there is only one public server of NS in the country %) So players all over the coutry and even from some ex-soviet coutries are playing on our server.
There is no way for most people in my city to play abroad. Internet outside the city is rather expensive >:(

I hope that in nearest future my team will be presented in NS league and will take part in competition.

Beware capitalistic NSers! Russians are comming! -Joke-

So far I haven't played as marines very much, and the occasions when I did we won without me really needing to understand what was going on. I'm in Oregon right now. I've gotten alien basics down, but the actual "skill" part of it isn't there yet.

I've been playing NS for maybe a week now, since i read about 3.0 final on Planet Half-Life. And it's frekkin AWESOME! I love his mod!

My nick ingame is Taurus (yes i'm a taurus) and i can be found on the Surftown.dk-servers, they are quite nice cus they're in Denmark and that's the closest servers to where i live. Which is northern Sweden.

Okay, seriously, we ain't got no polarbears here. But way to much snow. Which is thawing (exuse my english if anything is wrong) right now so everything is wet and moshy.

Oh, and do tell me if my nick "Semorghope" is some kind of profanity or something... I was surfing around and was going to register an account on some website and they told me that my e-mail was already in use so i got the password and nick in my inbox and there it was...

I'm a big Half-Life fan for years and so i heard a lot about Natural Selection - on planethalflife, in Steam's "Browse Games"-List etc. I downloaded it and got a really great game

I don't have that much time to play, but when I find the time I play on the "Marine Trainer - Alien Bots"-Server mostly.

I come from germany. There is a very small community - it's hard to find a german server which is not empty.

well hello everyone im new and not new i been play NS for a while but then i stoped and went off to play others games but im bord lol so i got the new vertion of NS and signed up on the site sooo here i am ^_^

well I always saw Half-Life in the stores but i always thought it was a crappy game it looked kinda cool but i didnt think it was anything great but then one day i was bord as heck so i dowloaded it and it was sweet!! so i went to the store and got this big box set it was at suck a low price to for like 5 games! all i payed was like $20 for 5 games! and so i became a fan and you can guess the rest from there ^^
