hey, i have lurked this forum for about 3 or 4 months now, and really starting following these boards about a month ago (with the impending release and what not)

i just wanted to take the time to say thank you NS team, for all the hard work you put into it and i hope the oct 31 release goes well

BTW: i will be a marine most of the time because i love being a team player (unlike in CS, or any other mp game i have ever played)

edit: BTW(2): VERY NICE TRAILER!! I WATCHED IT LIKE 5 TIMES AND IT KEEP GETTING BETTER EVERYTIME I SEE IT (i am starting to pretend that i am one of those marines)

I rarely come into this thread and it's even rarer that I post in it. But I came in now to tell all you new forumers something.

Congratulations, you have joined the NS community at a great time, because you have all joined after NS has gone gold. Now it's true that since you joined only recently, you haven't had time to fully expirience the community and team that has kept me here since March. But you will have plenty of time to play and expirience NS.

for the heck of it, heres an analogy.
NS is like an unborn baby and Flayra is like it's father. Now think of me and all other community members as family friends who have been waiting for this baby to be born for god knows how long. Now, the baby is about to be born. I'm not entirly sure what the new community members are in this analogy, but you'll figure something out.

I want to say thank you to the development team for giving Ryan something he cares about so much. I'm happy to see him interested in this game, however, sometimes I feel as though I no longer have a boyfriend...grrr...

Oh, and to all you guys out there thinking chicks aren't gamers...I will have you know that I play Tetris all the time! And, I happen to play Snake on my cell phone a great deal...hmmm...last year I was into the Sims...In any event, girls love games! Even girly girls like myself.

Hello, I'm Sergeant McMorrow, I use this nickname in games, together with Maloc2586. I'm coming from Belgium ( small land next to Germany and france, just undertneath the Netherlands). I discovered this mod at Planethalflife. in the beginning I didn't know a damn about this game ( yes I know it's a mod ),but by reading FAQ's and the manual, i'm getting by. Hope I will be as good at this game than I am at others!

Hello all. Looks like I found out about this mod just in time. Just finished reading the Manual. Very nice layout

About time i got time to registering to NS although i've been keeping an eye on this mod for a while now (a few months or so) i happen to register before 2 days of the release, waht i gotta say is wow the manual is huge its really complicated and i dont really know how you gusy will understand it first time...also will NS work on a crappy 56k machine bought and not upgraded from 3 years ago

I checked out this mod like a year ago. I'm glad to see that it made it through time. It looks absolutley amazing! Read the manual and was baffled some of the things implemented in this mod. I'm very excited about playing this when it's released. And my name is Austin and I go to Clemson University in South Carolina, USA. Gonna be waiting to download this all halloween!

Hello everyone at Natural Selection, I'm Chris and im 15 I live in N.Ireland and I'm an enormous fan of Half Life. I found your MOD while searching the web and took some interest in it. The whole 'Plan' of the game, the way it was made for Half Life, is astonishing and very attractive. I noticed that the first Public release will be launched tomorrow (Halloween Day) and I was just wondering if you guys had released a Release Time. I only want to know this because I'd like to download it on Halloween day and play it that night (Something to really look forward to). Thanx anyways.

I'm Slashman, Long time lurker, maybe a year or so on and off of following the boards, but questions I had to have answered made me want to register. I frequent The Opera boards much and a lot of us over there seem hyped up for the release and have been filling that craving with The Specialists, yet the time draws near. Some of us are even registering here (Shifty Eyes! I see you!.

The amount of guests and board activity astounds me! Can't wait until it is out... Allright, I can. Just a few hours. I can make it... hopefully...

i come from Liverpool, UK an ive been an experienced Counter-Strike and Day Of Defeat played for some months, I hope this mod can make a huge impact like them because from what ive seen it looks l337.
