Im using photoshop to ajust my screen shots, but for some reason when i use the NS FAQ formula my screen shots look like crap. I just want to find out if im using the formula right.

input value = 383 - [(your map's env_gamma value)*128]

My env_gamma setting is 1.7. So do i subtract 1.7 from the 383 or 128 or both?

I suck at math so please be easy on me.

Thanks.

Multiply 1.7 with 128, and then subtract the result, 217.6, from 383.
