The title and description describe the problem. I try to join a game and I get a notice saying "your version of (map name) is different from the server's. How come I don't automatically dl the updated version? I'm pretty sure steam and ns are all updated, since I just installed them all today. If it sounds like the aren't, how do I go about updating them? Thanks for any advice you can offer.

Are you positive you have NS 3.0 Beta 4a?

make sure you installed beta 1, beta 4, then beta 4a.
btw, steam/HL only downloads a map when it can't find it in your maps folder... It doesn't overwrite the map that's already there.

...so if you already have an older version of a map, it will just give you a version error.
