Not if it's made out of Aluminium I think. I think that's what Cloud's Buster sword is made from in Final Fantasy 7. Light weight metal but extremely strong.

One thing I'd say, there's a fair bit of black space in those maps. I would suggest that you scale up some bits to make use of all the spare space. You have the pixels there to use so you may aswell use them. Looks good apart from that minor point.
