Ever time I try to join a NS server it gets about half way through joining and it aborts due to a script error, this started yesterday and before then I have had no problems. I've restarted my computer and steam yet it still doesn't work. I'll check the exact error and post it here if it's needed.

The exact error is "Cannot continue without script events/WeaponAnimation.sc, disconnecting"

either get some one to send you that file and over-write it, or reinstall
reinstall would be your best be probably, as if there is one borked file there are often more.

If you are positive you have folowed them corectly then redownload the installer form a different location. There aslo seems to be a bug with, atleast some of, the 4a installers. Try pointing it at steamApps\your@email\ instead of steamApps\your@email\half-life Note: This is a file stored on my desktop because I have to use it so many times. |
I found it strange that it worked 2 days ago and I haven't DLed anything to do with NS since beta4a. Very confusing. Oh well.
