Ok, I was wondering if it was possible for someone to model a REDEEMER for a Grenade Launcher...

Just curious... but for the life of me, I can't remember what game that is 0o'

didnt they just launch a really chunky missle thats guideable? confused.gif
Mintman
In alternate fire mode yes, in regular it was just a straight firing missile iirc.
Obst
Ever tried the Strangelove mutator? U could use the redeemer as a plane biggrin.gif
But the (old) UT one simply looks too plain for NS IMHO, but the new one...
Looking strange confused.gif

im glad you used it on the right person tounge.gif
Zaggy
Why would you want to carry that around for in ns??

-It took 2/3 of your screen in UT when you carried it
-No guided rocket mode for NS, what made it the coolest thing in UT
-The explosion of the redeemer is waaay bigger than of the nade launcher in ns

But...ofcourse you can model it and stuff..

Look! Redeemer is a high extremly powerful Nuke weapon.

You can control the weapon using the missile system and can contol the nukemissile itself. Yes the weapon is from Unreal Tournament and is only avabialbe for Single Player.

To get the weapon ingame type in the console :

iamtheone

and then warheadlauncher

yup, you can use it in single and multiplayer without cheats.. Maybe you could use the new ut assault rifle for the gl or something
Svenpa
ah good ol redeemer and UT. Remember when i dident know what lagg was so i thought when the beam/bullet came a few secs later it was normal tounge.gif .
I really dont like the new UT 2k3 or 2k4 the assault maps on 2k4 dosent have the UT feeling.
Owen1
bah... we all know the best weapon was the razorjack, i loved that thing so much it was like ZZZZING...
Mintman
Had to love spamming them into a crampt room and watching kills rack up as they filled the room.

Uh no, the doom shotgun pwned biggrin.gif
Melajo
ah, memories of the redeemer...

CTF-face + redeemer + allammo + fly + playersonly = big nuke explode...

get a redeemer, type allammo, hold the fire button, turn on playersonly and fly. When you launch, the missle will stay in place until you turn off playersonly. if you do it right, all the missles will fly at the same pace and explode without destroying eachother...ah...i remember when my computer almost fried...
Private_Coleman
gah, this thread is going to turn into another UT ROX, QUAKE SUX argument. add some lashings of doom if you so desire.
Svenpa
instagib on liandri damn that was fun.

I find it much harder to hit in new UT 2k3 and 2k4 is it bacause speed increse? bad graf settings? or improved dodging? or is it cause i havent played UT for 2-3 years tounge.gif played 2k3 a while thought it sucked plays 2k4 sometimes but having extreme trouble in close combat and on small maps.
Melajo
back to the topic...

The GL in NS is waaaaay too underpowered to be considered a redeemer...
Jean_Luc_Picard
Ok then...

make the NS GL a lot more powerful then tounge.gif tounge.gif tiny.gif *rawr*
