Well, it's a M203 with a new stock system...
How would you adapt it for NS gameplay? I mean, how can you make it shoot 4 rounds before reloading like the original GL?

Putting nades in the close end of the barrel i assume?

Thats what they do for the gun that fires one million bullets a second.
Edit:
Forgot to say, that I was planning on having some way of holding the other 3 nades onto the body of the gun and having them kinda fed into the barrel in the fire anim.
Its not ez to describe.

To make it fit with pump-action, you could try to make it pump-shotgun style with a tubular magazine somewhere on it. I suggest over the barrel (the magazine could be a part of the stock), the ejection would be done under the gun, gravity helping and it would be innovative to have a reversed tubular magazine.

Heres a pic that might aid you on your way. It was slated to replace the m79, but never made it.

Hrm... the clip wouldn't work, since there's 4 reload anims for the nade launcher (1 for if its empty, one for if it has 1 left... etc). You could, however, make the clip into an open thing on top that holds a stack of 4 nades, and the stack goes down after each shot (since there's 4 idle anims like the reload anims). Something like 4 rails holding the nades in would work, or something similar.

The second one seems easier to adapt for the original GL reload timing and, it looks cooler than the other one.
Just don't forget that the nades diameter is the same than the barrel's.
You could add a aiming device too.

4 reload anims? I would have thought that it wud've been easier to play the same animation xmod4 times when x != 0?
Oh well.

Maybe if you didn't think of it as a clip and more of another store for the grenades. So you pull it out, turn it upside down, then you'd push 4 into it if it was empty, 3 in if it had 1 left, etc. Or something like that anyway.

What about something like Perfect Darks Devastator?
That kinda had a cool clip on.....

well the 4 "dfifferent" animations arent so different, it just coulda been ulled off easier then the way the ns team decided to make it. its basically the same animation cept it plays once, twice, etc.
i like the model, it looks great and i love the concept. for futuristic value, how bout adding a modded kinda scope or like a cool modded aimpoint. instead of having traditional iron sights i mean. maybe not a full out scope but that kinda that are just one peice...
idea: im not sure about the animations, but if on the reload_empty one he has to bump it to get started... how bout a one handed pump with his left hand. he keep his left hand where it is, take his right hand off and pumps it real hard... it would be very ramboish

you plan on doing an iron sight?

maybe put like a clip on the side like a stubby version of the default lmg

you need to learn to round your models because it looks very blocky as it is
Mintman

It will look fine once he does the smoothing groups for it. There's no point smoothing it until the UV map is done, as most mapping programs reset the smoothing groups to default.

its not that i need to learn rabbity, its that i havent rounded them yet.
These are just work in progress, i knock up the basic idea in a few minutes, and then do another model, optimizing number of polys and round it. Smoothing groups i have yet to master.
Summat about assigning everything to group 1 and then other stuff to group 3 that u want more definition in.
