Alright, First off - over the summer i plan to get aquainted with making my own models and possibly my own pack, my first idea was a 'tools' pack. I got the idea for this concept one day in one of my boring classes... take a look

Doesn't really need a concept picture, i'm sure everyone knows what a screw driver looks like.

Eh.. true but their are those... Nevermind. I included a picture for those visual people out there. And the fact that it is a concept and people want to know the picture in my head Oh and it will come in phillips and flat head versions... and several colors! ;P

some of these concepts just get more pathetic as time goes on.

To be honest I dont why people find anything useful or funny like replacing a knife with a screwdriver or a grenade launcher as a gamecube system.

but i play Ns in a serious way so im guessing my point of view is limited on these types of subjects.

olo , someone did suggest a TOOL pack , rat made a nailgun for lmg , would be neat

Maybe we should get soem peeps together after the mario conversion pack is semi-done.
knife = screwdriver
pistol = staple gun
lmg = nail gun
hmg = (chainsaw with loose teeth that fly off?)

Gl = (hammer shooting machine?)

This isn't "the janitor vs the aliens," make the screwdriver look more futeristic, and that TSA-blue scheme we all love.

I was thinking more along the lines of Chainsaw knife.

u would just need diff anims like the chainsaw turning on and moving around abit while you hold down the mouse, and you could make an idle sound like... an idling chainsaw...

Mintman, if you add a bit (like another couple hundred more pollies) more detail that is exactly what i want. except for the fact that the metal part is too short

Knife = Screwdriver
Pistol = Stapler
LMG = Nail Gun
HMG = dual, belt-fed-like-a-mofo nail guns
GL = Nail Grenade?
H/N = Nail Grenade?

hmg could be a bigger cliped dual version of the nail gun...

What about a rivet gun for HMG?

I haven't meshed or skinned it. That's just flat colours applied to the model itself in cinema 4d.

Also, it shouldn't be red blood, aliens blood is green. It would only be red if you were stabbing yourself.

Yeah, I was going to do it for default anims first, then try doing it with some custom ones. I don't think the default slashing action would be too effective with a screwdriver, a nice stabbing action might be though!

Thing about the standard animations is that they would be slashing and you dont slash with a screwdriver! you stab (although the 3rd person animation for knife would still work just fine)

Update on possible other weapons!

Knife = Screwdriver
Pistol = Staple Gun
LMG = Basic Nail Gun (w/ Box clip)
HMG = Advanced Nail Gun (Chain Fed)
Shotgun = Shrapnel shooter (nuts bolts metal etc)
Hand Grenade = Hammer (like a stiehl grenade *aka potato masher*)
Grenade Launcher = Hammer shooter (would be VERY comic to see)
Mine = Moderatly large balls of nails (sorta like caltrops)
Welder = modern welder (duhh)

EDIT: Put a pick of a stiehlhand grenade for those who dont know what they look like.
