I'm such a nub when it comes to HINT brushes. My map Co_Meteora has good r_speeds in all areas except one, where the polys rocket to 2000. In this area the user can see into one area that is highly detailed and see down a hallway which leads to an even more detailed room.
I've included a diagram for ease of interpretation. The blue boxs are the highly detailed
areas and the red dot is where I am standing when the r_speeds skyrocket. I'm looking for a specific answer, where to put a hint brush, which side the HINT tex should be on... etc.
