Full Version: Need Some Help With Placing A Hint Brush

I'm such a nub when it comes to HINT brushes. My map Co_Meteora has good r_speeds in all areas except one, where the polys rocket to 2000. In this area the user can see into one area that is highly detailed and see down a hallway which leads to an even more detailed room.

I've included a diagram for ease of interpretation. The blue boxs are the highly detailed
areas and the red dot is where I am standing when the r_speeds skyrocket. I'm looking for a specific answer, where to put a hint brush, which side the HINT tex should be on... etc.

Place it where the green lines are.
The longer all the corridors are, the better, because your angles will be better.
Oh yeh, forgot : 5 sides skip, the green line size hint, make it about 8 thick, or whatever you want to really.
