Complete newb at mapping. Got a couple cs maps to work. When I try to play Ns maps i made (ha..ha...) steam says "starting local server". Then it HL crashes about 2 seconds later.
Using Hammer 3.5, p13..blah blah blah. Any help apreciated.

Are you sure you got all the required entities and set them up right? Does the map crash if you load it in single player or LAN mode? Did you try loading the map in vanilla HL and did that crash it? Are there any instances of the words "WARNING" or "ERROR" in your compile log?
