Lately I have had a very odd lag problem, where I will have a solid ping of say 50 something, then all of a sudden my ping will spike to say 900

. This spike will last for several seconds, and appear quite frequently, and has made it impossible for me to play higher lifeforms (for fear of lagging in combat and waking up dead). Also, every time I drop a chamber, my computer freezes completely, forcing me to restart. I have tried rate 10000, made sure I had no other programs running, etc, but it still persists. Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Make sure in your Steam settings under internet you have LAN/T1 selected. I assume you are running DSL or Cable.

Yes, and I am set to LAN/T1. I do have cable, roadrunner, and still no luck.

I assume Raptor is refering to QOS RSVP. To access go to Control Panel, Admin Tools, Service shortcut, and scroll down. Mine is set on manual

If you do a google for CL_FLUSH ENTITY ERROR there are lots of hits. Reviewing a couple there doesn't seem to be a hard fix. Can be caused by server you are playing on that has a high ping, could be your ISP and/or connection speed, RAM, CPU, etc.
Good luck

i get CL_FLUSH as well. its happens in large games or when people over build. enity = models. not 100% sure but there has been talk about NS BETA Having a memory leak. where its wastes processing power. i think its connected but dont quote me on it.
