Have you guys ever seen any kind of tv shows that refer to this problem.
Someone walks into a buisness of some sort go to the information desk and asks where something is.
The information desk tells them go to room 419 on floor 3.
So they go to room 419 on floor 3.
They are then told to go to room 914 on floor 2.
And again they continue to room 914 on floor 2.
And Guess what they are told to go to room 149 on floor 1.
Frusterated but still go to room 149 on floor 1.
Where they then find out that room 149 on floor 1 is actually the Information desk.
And they just did a big circle.
I'm sorry about the whole mini story, but this is how I feel when I look at the download page for Natural-Selection.
Is it to hard to have only the current version and its patchs?
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks that the download page could be improved. It would make getting information and downloads a little less confusing.
But now that I have vented my problems.
What exactly do I need to get to set up a NS server that is updated to the current update.
Do I download:
ns_v3_b1_dedicated.zip
ns_v30_b2_patch_dedicated_server.zip
ns_v30_b3_patch_dedicated_server.zip
ns_v30_b4_patch_dedicated_server.zip
ns_v30_b4a_patch_dedicated_server.zip
And install the files from top to bottom?
Or do I have to go crazy and download:
ns_v1_dedicated
and add every single patch ever made untill I am up to date?
See if there was only 1 file for server and one file for client.
and those files are updated whenever thier is a patch.
Would be so much easier.
