About customizing configs, in which way it isnt legal to modify a config?
Cause I heard that a lot of ppl use +jump,wait,-jump,+jump,wait,-jump, scripts for bunnyhopping and that they use scripts for crouching everytime they jump, and also pistol scripts, and i dont know, to tweak the gammas and brightness to watch invisible enemys or to twek them to doesnt display any shadows, thats also a tweak?
I wanna hear your opinions about this way of "Customizing NS" who gives some players a incredible advantage over others

I have seen and read a lot of topics on this subject.
It's simple, some people use scripts to simplyfie some actions, and others to become better.
The second ones are the hated people ^^
Scrips are being used for:
-Bunnyhopping
-Gaussjumping
-Weapon switching
-Handgunning
But also:
-issueing commands
-saying things
-misc.
To prevent the abusive type of scripting, there is now a serverside variable which defines wheter some scripting commands (wait, alias, ; ) can be used or not.

I think that doing bhopping scripts and pistol scripts isnt really fair. Brightness isnt either but its not really the same thing. When you play with brightness high, yes you get to see the cloaked ppl. However in my case when I tried it out with my brightness high its actually hard to see the little skulkys still. You have to not move really to notice them. But when I had my brightness high for a while NS games just werent as much fun. Why would you want to sacrifice the fun of a game for being able to see cloaked ppl, when 9 out of 10 times sensory is gotten as the 3rd hive ability and it just doesnt matter then rines have already lost. And when they get that third hive do they put up sens outside the base and sneak in with little skulkys? No. The come trampling in with the 
. If ppl want to have less fun and maybe have 1 more kill a game, its not really a game any more. The point of a game is to have fun. From Monopoly to Natural Selection the point of a game is to have fun. Not to get 1 more kill here and there cause I can see cloaked people.

scripts are fine as long as you dont use them to ruin the game
scripts such as bunnyhop and handgun firing scripts are stupid. if you need a script to let you bunnyhop then you shouldnt be given the opportunity to bhop. same with pistol. if you cant fire fast and straight with a pistol, and you need a script to do it, then you dont deserve a pistol.
however, i use scripts sometimes (to reconfigure my binds) for different tactics, one will make buttons issue audio commands, then i can press another button and it will change the bindings of those buttons by executing a script which will turn it into silent mode (text only commands) etc.

Thx, i just wanted to know what the comunity really thinks about them, i have asked about the blockscript command, and everyone is telling me , that it doesnt work =/ 
well... ppl who are using such scripts arent very good @ ns. a real good nsplayer doesnt need such scripts. i think scripts are a good thing for all the new players out there.

because im too lazy to press space and c the same time.

That would work better if you moved the -jump up to the +djump and added a few wait's

Just to clear this up. A hack is not a 3rd party program it rather is what it is called. Its a hacked version of your opengl32.dll
i can happily say the only scripts ive ever owned are buy-scripts.

just hold down pgup and it will go at X* speed (X = FPS)

Bunnyhopping scripts aren't really unfair. Anyone can easily hit jump everytime they land. or bind regular jump to mwheelup /mwheeldown. but the triple jump script lets you concentrate more on your air control than your jumping, which is what really matters.

1. bunnyhopp!ng. youll never hop fast enough to survive my 1337 fastfingers xD
.on my opinion bunnyhopping scripts dont give you such a HUGE advantage in NS cos bunnyhopp!ng is sooo easy, even for non-scripters
2. Gaussjumping: o.O
3. Weapon Switching: hud_fastswitch does a gj too, and even with a script you change your weapon 1/100 sec faster...
4.handgunning: well... right, thats the most annoying script for all you lil skulkies out there. but not every good player uses them. there are still some ppl (like me) who can click as fast as you without a script. but the problem with this script is: your shots arent very accurate if you bind it to mwheel.. you move your mouse a bit and the skulkie laughs @ you
5. issueing commands: (most annoying: need orders-spam). on my opinion just a lil help for all the lazy ppl who dont wanna use the commandmenu ^^
6.saying things: sometimes annoying, but otherwise just like the commands just a lil help for all the ppl without mic.
7.misc = aimbot/wallhack/armorhack/ogc ( ^^ ): o.O dont use this or Don Alfredo puts a large hole in you and the admin uses you as a punchingball
