Looks übersexeh! I like the compact design of it, but maybe the CLIP(clip, clip, clip, clip, clip, I could do this until the end of time) is a bit fat? With a stock, and a little more bulk,it would go for HMG. This has to be modeled. *looks at Chrono* :P
/edit: Now that I look at it, I see a stock there. :P

IT'S A FRIGGEN MAGAZINE!!!! STOP SAYING CLIP!!! IT'S NOT A CLIP! CLIPS OPERATE WITH THE AID OF GRAVITY LIKE A GARAND!!!
[/rant]
i feel better now...
I like the design. Looks like a heavily modified Tompson base, which means dependability. Good job...

holy f00k, how'd I manage 77 posts already???

that's what I was talking about. These people were referring to the drum as a clip, instead of a magazine. Real "clip-fed" guns are those in which the magazine is part of the weapon, and where it is the "clip" that is "reloaded" each time, such as an M1 Garand.

THANK YOU FOR THE RESOPONSES!!!
I am definitely motivated to finish this project now...
but should i keep the design simple or add detail to it (i always feel my gun drawings lack detail.), also what do you guys think about the grip on the barrel, should i draw some other grips???
and about dream scars remark about this looking like a modified thompson, that is so true if fact i've been looking at thompsons online...
heres a pic of the drum magazine:
CODE
http://www.auto-ordnance.com/ao_1927mag.html
and heres technical info on the thompson:
CODE
http://www.nfatoys.com/tsmg/web/tsmgdata.htm
I think these dimensions could help in the creation of the model...
also here is another page of preliminary drawings. notice the alternate stock?
above the profile view... i thought i'd tinker with a little more traditional stock but keep the old one for comparsion. oh and sorry the pic looks dirty... **** eraser!!!

next post will be with the following pics:
- views of the grip(with place holder stock, this is the only thing im sure is final right now)
-multiple views of the grip on the barrel(these are really hard to draw cause its hard to get the angle right)
-various other detail views
umm is there anything you guys want or need in terms of views for the next set of drawings???

That stock looks a bit uncomfortable. Most fixed shoulder stocks have a curve to 'em to fit better against the shoulder and reduce pressure points. Folding or retractable stocks can get away with a flat butt because they need to be shaped to fit against the gun.

well folks i made a final version of the gun again feel free to take this idea and change it, mutate it, and generally just go wild with it!!!
i didnt ink this cause i was afraid i'd lose detail and i didnt want it to look messy

(lol it's already pretty dirty!!!)
the clip release which looks like the safety is actually the mag release and i think it should be on the other side(so the mag can easly be released my the thumb), but i put it there so it could be seen.
oh i also wanted to see this with a rifle stock mabe if this gets modeled we could get a version with a high tech looking rifle grip.
and another thing people might want to change is the barrel grip... it was designed for use in tight spaces but some might like the hands spaced a little farther apart.
oh yeah and finally what should it be called?!?!?!

maybe one of the MS paint conceptors could throw a high-res paint concept together, to make it easier for modeling. Did you try asking one of those guys to do it?

that gun is actually quite well made, except for a few problems, the only major thing im concerned about is how scinny the drum is.... what is it shooting bb's???

I finally remember the name of the cutie, it was the flechette. I called it "elephant killer", cause the bullets of this beauty were big as shot gun ammo. it was a damn hell of gun, nothing could stop her! Here a pig, ähm make that pic

Here in the Hands of the brave Bob.

the serial name of this gun was "KKV-7 SMG"

It could easily hold 50 5.7x28mm rounds, which would make sense considering the amount of damage the LMG deals.

wow have any of you used a gun?
sure you can fit those tiny bullets in there but then i would consider them bbs!
and besides what about the workings of the drum and the outer casing? what you think a drum case is 100% hollow insside or that its paper thin? and whats this about
bullets should be small because the gun shoots pathetically
so what, we have to make the bullets bigger ever time we get a weapon upgrade?!
interesting how you guys think
btw its still a great gun design, if i wasn't so busy with my hl2 mods i help out and make it for you.

5.7x28mm (SS190) is used by the FN P90. They're shaped like AR rounds, and do a substantial bit of damage.
