Well before downloading beta 4, I accidentally re-installed beta 3, and then beta 4 after that. The first time, the weapon sounds were exactly the same as before. I tried reinstalling 4, and still the sounds were not in place. I even moved the entire sound folder into my desktop, reinstalled four, and moved the folder back into the sound area without overriting the sounds and still I have all the old weapon sounds. I'm just curious how to fix this, as i've never been able to hear these new sounds. =(

Reinstall entirely.

heh, I've been having the same problem, I've still got all the old sounds on everything BUT the shotgun. (I.E, No new HMG sounds, etc.)

Most of the old sounds are way better (In my opinion) than the new sounds. Like the welder in beta 4 which sounds like horrible popcorn sounds (Some people said that). HMG sounds 1.04 verison hmg which sounds weaker. And the rest just sounds the same except shotgun.

The new shotgun sound is cool.
