I'd like to see a Marine vs. Marine map in space, like the spacefreefall map (i'm not sure of name).
Have 2 marine ships in space fighting, maybe have auto jetpacks or a suppy of jetpacks, or something, also have Heavy Armor, I once was on a server where players had both, that was cool.
The ships should be able to be damaged but not destoreyed, or maybe if destroyed the cc will be blown up if ship takes too much damage.
I think some sort of manned turrents would also be a good idea.
If anyone has any ideas please add.

I don't have the know how to make this map, thats why I brought it here. I think it would be a fun map or maybe have a few of them.
I was wondering are you able to remove gravity in a map on the outside?
Like inside has gravity on outside there is none at all.
Also is there a way to make manned turrents where it requires a human to control it?
Hii

well, theres an entity called func_equipment (or something like that) that could be used, but i don't think it could work with co_, because you keep upgrades.

Easy; turn off gravity server-side, then put func_pushes all over the inside of the ships. HL already has support for equipment like turrets.
The problem is that I *doubt* you want no gravity outside. Think about it; you hit the jetpack and you immediately get upward movement, until you hit th ceiling and you're stuck there. Remember, there's no way to turn a jetpack upside-down.

Maybe make it so that the jp goes forward, (the way your facing)

Anyone know how to make the Jetpack go in the direction that you are looking?

i think you've stepped into the realm of code changing, and i doubt that will happen. best bet is to make the setting above a planet with both ships in orbit, or perhapse trying to get out of the planets gravitational pull. You could then logically have some gravity which would allow the JP to be somewhat useful, but still have a logical explanation for the gravity.

The map you are talking about is:
co_spacefall by HoundDawg. It is the map he made after co_freefall. You can play them both on WWGaming.com Official co_*fall (voogru) (207.126.64.35:27015).
Besides that, he is thinking about a MvM arena map, after he is done with spacefall, which is already at b12.

Only problem with MvM maps is that they take forever to end...
I played a bit of CO_sillyv5 recently and although it's fun, it can get long and boring.
Hell i even found myself press F4 and going back to my team just to change loadouts several times in a single round

I almost always use the same equiptment, HA, HMG, Resuppy. Other things may change like sometimes I get a welder other times i get more damage, and others i go for more armor.
