Ben, can you tell me how you did the dark spots with the lights and all?
*never understood the lighting effects properly*
<(^-^);> Looks like a good map tho!

Very nice looking. Keep up the good work, i hope you wont run into HL1-engine limitations/problems. Don't forget the clip brushes on the walls like in the third shot, cause these doesnt look like skulk-wallclimb-friendly.

a very original style and excellent use of those textures. i like your lighting as well, a bit less in the first pic though; that much brightness on the ground would suggest a bit more vertical reflection to me.
the 2nd pic is awesome, especially the railing. i don't know about using the same texture on the floor and the ceiling.
great job, i look forward to seeing more!

I like this a lot, keep it up! The textures and lighting are perfect and create this dark yet not too dark environment. I'm eager to try this one out

I love it. It reminds me alot of the Alien movies, for some reason. The lighting is perfect, not too dark, not too bright and yet not too bland either. Keep up the good work.

It looks cool but, please note that this is unconstructive as possible, the name ... ns_exchange, well, i don't like it.
Sounds like Nicrosoft Exchange ...

Mmmmm, yummy.
What really grabbed my attention were those railings you used in the first and second shot. The other difference was that you're using the Grey set from ns2.wad, which I haven't seen fully utilized before.

chaos is the god of texture alignment

maybe add some distinctive features that sets the map apart. broken walls, exposed electrical wires, maybe some custom montior panels. add some more stuff that develops the 'theme'. general lighting is good - nice contrasts/spotlights, but add some more variation like small red or blue highlights. the new textures are basically 'grey' so lighting is more important. skulk wallwalking shouldnt be too bad - places to hide in the ceiling is always fun. i know you will have nice z-axis since thats part of your style.
keep goin'

Your texturing is absolutely impeccable. Nice work. I do think the lighting could use some fleshing out, but that's just my personal preference.
What I do think you could do to dramatically enhance the atmosphere of the map is to make it look more "lived in". In those shots I don't really see much that a human could have interacted with prior to the infestation. Since I don't know the intended functionality for the rooms I can't really make suggestions, but think about why the crew would want to be in any given room and what they would need to be able to do there. At the moment there isn't much evidence that it is even a human constructed ship.
Keep up the good work.

The map looks nice in terms of textures, perhaps the lighting could be improved a little so people can see it better, you don't want a map that looks too dark to see in terms of gameplay.
Btw it reminds me of ns_caged
