im trying to use the alien textures with the blue parts in them, i want it so the blue parts are invisable. in other maps this was simply done by making the brush a func wall and then making the fx 255, but this didsnt work for me in ns
how should i do it?
i want it so players can walk through them.

In addition to the remarks I made in your other post, you might be interested to know that the textures ALIEN_ALPHA1 and ALIEN_ALPHA2 don't work for this purpose, since they lack the { prefix.
{alien_alpha2 And {lostinfest2 do work though.

wouldnt that make it so players couldnt pass through it?
so your saying to use
func wall
render solid
fx 255?

No, for a walk-through brush you'd need func_illusionary instead of func_wall.
