Hi, I am curious about some infos to help for a possible map layout design. I had seen those infos somewhere before but can't recall where. Can anyone point me ?
- maximum map size
- siege active range : what's the radius of the attack range
- command chair range : what's the radius of the chair that allows building of equipements like IP or any other ones that have to be in the chair's range
- hive sizes
- hive healing range
- hive range similar to the chair : does such a thing exist ?
- min height/width of corridors for :
--- light marines
--- heavy marines
--- aliens level 1,2,3,4 & 5
--- marine equipement
--- alien equipement
- crouch/jump heights for marines & aliens
- height/width of a ressource tower (marine/alien)
- distance covered by a 30 sec rush done by marines and aliens : how far can they travel at max speed at map start for a 30 sec run
- max height/depth of floor for commander view
- average floor height (coordinate) for the normal commander view height
- max width viewable from a commander view at normal distance : what size would a room be to completly fit in the commander view at an average floor height
- max distance of a trown grenade (hand and GL)
- range of invisibility shield of a sensory
- working range of an observatory
- max shooting range of an ofense tower
- max healing range of a defense tower
If I have other questions, I'll add them via a reply (a bit late now). Making a map has been in my mind for a while. I just have to have time to do it.
Oh yea and what is the maximum WAD size of custom textures besides the NS ones ?
