So what i wanted to know is if it is possible to include funcional turrets like in the original HL in NS.
I started by adding a monster_miniturret inside my map, however it doesn't seem to do anything but sit there.
Do i need some other entities, scripting, etc.?

You'll have to use an NS entity, I think it's called turret or team_turret.

Ns has team_turretfactory and turret.
These are NS entities, wich are not what you are wanting. I though about this once, but NS Mod code has disabled/changed a lot of the 'defautl' stuff within HL, such as doors need to be triggered... etc....
this is perhaps one of them, since they have their own turret system, or using the turret system within Hallife for use with the Marine Turrets.

I guess that would be cool for funmaps, somthing differnent.

well, you have some turrets in HL: monster_turret
monster_sentry
monster_miniturret (i think) but only the big turret is also in NS, try to look for "entmap_schouseshop" and then go underground to middle "dark" room, the only monster in the entirely SC entmap will be a turret, so only that turret is in NS
or mayb its little turret?

but try to "e_use" it with entmod, but i think it doesnt know its enemy cause its made to attack AI monsters, try giving it a team ?

These things were disabled by the ns dev team. Somehow they got a barney in to an older version of the seige maps, if anybody remembers that. But nobody has really been able to get hl entities in their map farther then that.
