EDIT: NVM, he had to go, and its still not working. I added the gameplay entity, and the gameinfo entity. And there is still no initial spawn, yes i have info_player start, and i have info_join_team entity joined to a brush for both alien and marine. Yes I have the entity info_team_start in my test room. I looked at console it said: All Spawns Full - not exact works, but thats the jist.

Im a newbie too, but did you add info_mapinfo? Its so ns knows its an ns map..

I belive naming you map with the co or ns prefix fixes this, co_yourmap ns_yourmap, like that.

and yes its updating, ill make sure by moving a light around, or changing a texture, each time.

It's a long shot, but you're not running the map with the name in all caps, are you? Like 'map NS_PIT1B' ? There's an odd bug which causes you to get 'all spawns full' errors if you type the map name in all caps when you load it. Make sure it's all lowercase.

I did that once on a bast PT

Anyway, do you have all 32 info_player_starts, all 48 alien info_team_starts, along with all 16 marine info_team_starts, plus 3 team_hives and 1 team_command, 1 info_gameplay and 1 info_mapinfo?
