As some of you may know, I am canadian, and after seeing the "Flayra moving to canada?" post, I came up with a wonderful idea:
WE NEED TEH BEAVORS! =D

That beaver would look so lonely... we need an entire stereotypical Canada pack!

Onos = moose
Lerk = snowy owl/flying squirrel
Gorge = beaver
Fade = bear/snowman?
Skulk = Squirrel/huskie
OC = pine tree

Marines = mounties
CC = outhouse
Restower = igloo (with smoke coming out the top)
Medpack = Bucket of PFK/beer
Armoury = Stove (people always seem to be huddling around it)

etc

I know your all kidding but man... As a Canadian im sick and tired of people saying exact same thing for Canadians, once again I KNOW your kidding, but its so annoying. Im sometimes ashamed to say that im a Canadian online because I know people will say the same thing(beavers,igloos,mounties,eh?)unless they are Canadian to. Im not trying to be all dramatic or anything but still Canada/Canadians are/is nothing like what most people think. Yes we have those animals but its not like they are our pets or live in our backyard. Right now im in my shorts and people are water skiing. I usually don't mind things like this but it happens almost every time. I know this was not NS related so im sorry for that.

Note: I'm Canadian. Actually about as Canadian as you can get genetics-wise

I find that all those typical "Canadian" stereotypes don't bother me too much, except when they're said in an insulting way (OMGZ u live in igloo olol!!1). But then I can just laugh at their ignorance. Really, I can't blame anyone for associating a country with it's popular stereotypes - I do it all the time when I'm joking around - it's just when they actually think the sterotype is real that I get annoyed (luckily this is rarely the case). I know Canada isn't really as cold as people make it out to be, and I know that we don't keep beavers as pets. My dad was a mountie though...

But really, what would be the fun of making a "true to life" Canadian pack? That would be pretty boring if you ask me

I'm Canadian and I love the idea... and laugh at the stereotypes most of the time. It's not like they do anyone harm, so who cares? If somebody thinks I live in an igloo, I don't care. If that was true, I'd have one helluva technologically advanced igloo. Not many have ADSL and satellite TV I hear. Oh, and furnaces? If someone honestly believes I'm sitting in my centrally-heated igloo typing this message... well then they're not exactly what I'd call brilliant.

Anyways, this sounds like a cool idea and I might model a few of the buildings after I finish the welder I'm doing ATM. Just for the hell of it.

Edit: Lookin good Cookie... If that thing on his head is a hat... make it either a beer hat or one of those fur hats with the earflaps

Another WIP. Its the Igloo, complete with Canadian Flag. 1412 Polies, but that's because it actually has an inside (which is easily removed).

oh man... it kinda makes me want a southern pack... seeing how i live in tennessee... we live in barns.. i can see onos cows, and pig gorges... maybe the comm chair could be an old rusty car on cinder blocks.
