Well, tell me what you think so far.
And it uses energy cells (the 2nd cylinder under the barrel is where it goes. The button to the left of the pistol ejects it so a new one can be put in).

Yeah, I might do something neat with the front part.
Those tubes use up a lot of polies, I might reduce the pc on those.

I like the diea behind it, but wouldnt the front portion get in the way of the gun mechanisms?

The whole tube stuff at the side is only about ~352 polies (guess) , so IMHO you don't need to change them if you aren't going for super-low-poly

Ok, a little update. I made the bottom of the front part come up at an angle, maybe you cant see it in this render but oh well. Here's the other angle you all wanted.
