- Well it is still in the begining any ideas post them please thanks

I suppose it's just the readyroom, but I'd recommend toning down the green sad.gif, and making your walls and ceilings more interesting architecture wise. Whats more it is very open, it just looks a bit wierd to me.

Well ok ill work on that as i say it is in the begining details come later.

maybe i'll change the green because it has a slow pulse appearence
NzNexus
wow nice readyroom. The light does the map really cold!!

nice outside area of the rr.
brute_force
What I'd suggest you do, is make the main lighting blue and white, to create that cold effect, and then use small areas of red and orange to make it seem warmer inside and such.
perso
Hehe, looks like we've got something to wait for. The Readyroom sure gives a cold feeling. Maybe it's the combination of lighting and dark spots and snow falling from the sky (or maybe it's just that I have window open tounge.gif ). Just all I can suggest is to make the random and spectate area more interesting.
Some_tall_guy1
If your gonna have green, ull need to make the light darker, otherwise it looks like puke.
InZaneFleaArmy
Just a personal Observation, It's a bit dark...I mean, the Ready Room should be easily accessible and quick to move around without much trouble. I fear people would try to move and get caught on a brush they don't notice -.-
Hazzard
Thnaks of the sugestions ill take them in count... right now im still working on a snowing PS like in ayumi (i took inspiration for it)

Still gotta say the same thing. I mean, it looks great for another part of the map, I'm just worried about it for the RR. Maybe if you make all the lights just a hint brighter (Say by...25 or 50?) It would make it a lot better.

humm... ingame they look cool and fine but the pics (as allways) are darker than the live ones
Insane
You should add some smaller blue lights to "backlight" the scene. Keep the white lighting the focus, though.

This is the overall aspect of the RR and I have one problem THE SKY SUXX mad.gif if someone knows any sky tha can fit in tell me, or if you whant to make one for the map its fine 2
Janos
Compared to the first pictures the new lighting really does give it that cold effect wink.gif

nice progress
MeanMrMustard
Looks good, if not a tad boring.
I know boring seems very negative, but its not. I mean its only the RR, but still, any possible details that could characterise your map.
The lighting looks good, cept for image 9, where it looks a tad warmer than other screens.
The textures fit well with the title, and the outdoor area backs this up.
Good work.
spit_fire
mmhh... Very nice, but in my opinion, it will probably look better with a bit more lighting smile.gif

hey im working on the marine start but it being a bit hard to start sad.gif - got ideas?
NzNexus
yes now i can say it looks good. Work more and u get more.

Hazzard, in Image 14, I suggest that you change that grating texture. First of all; it's ugly. Second of all; HL texture makers made it the wrong size so it appears all blurred in-game. You should use one that's in ns.wad instead, or atleast one with a correct size. smile.gif

Yay. smile.gif

It's a bit too bright for my tastes to be honest, maybe a bit more contrast.
Kouji_San
Hmm well I think you over did it a little bit with brightening up the RR smile.gif

If I where you I would use the brightness of the lighting from the first screenshots and add maybe something like 25% more brightness. And also add 0.2 to the gammaramp. This will make the map have more contrast and appear brighter without actually overbrightening the map.

Maybe add some spotlights to and some red warning lights for contrast. But since you want it to look cold I wouldn't overdo the red since it's a pretty warm color tounge.gif
