Ok im working on creating a defence chamber and ive got to the animating stage

Ive learned how to animate and i can get things to move around and that. I should understand most lingo you want to speak wink.gif Using milkshape as well

The problem is in sequencing of any animation that starts and stops at the reference. So say for a 30 second idle animation that sways a bit, I set keyframes 1 and 30 to the reference and then go set 10 to one side and 20 to the other. When i go back it seems to have deleted my keyframe at 30. and so it stops at 20 and resets at 1.

Any help please?

EDIT** Sorry i guess this should be in the help and troubleshooting bit, i forgot about that part

well i have been having problems like this on milkshape 1.7 and sometimes on 1.6.4 but it was easy to fix on 1.6.4. what i did was i went to the first frame or the reference frame, and selected all the bones, and then i went to animate -> copy keyframes and then i moved to the last keyframe and went to animate -> paste keyframes and it will copy it over and then you have to set it again. that always worked in 1.6.4 but sometimes it doesnt copy keyframes right in 1.7.

yeah i have TONS of problems with ms 1.7, first, which isnt really a big problem, is make sure when u paste the keyframe, before moving anything, SET the keyframe, in the animations tab, also ive had problems where u can only copy a frame once, then u have to restart the program, maybe your pasting the wrong keyframe.... thats all i can tell you about that...
