Please, I am new to NS, I have dl'd the 3.0 beta and the 3.0 patch and am using the Counter Strike steam engine or what ever, now when ever I try to join a server I am getting 2 errors.....

1. On NS servers it says Your .dll [cl_dlls\client.dll] differs from the server's

2. On CO servers it says Your map [maps/**any map name**.bsp] differs from the server's

I have no clue what these are..I have played the Training of Half Life like the dl says to....and am still getting these errors...

I don't know if any one else has had these errors..please for the love of god help me, and put it in LAYMENS terms I am not computer savy, I know that I am a newb please do not flame me for this...

you havent got the latest version, NS 3 beta 3. theres no other explination for it. go back to the downloads section and make sure you have the beta 1 install file, and the beta 3 full patch

I Have both of those installed and I have ran through the half life training course with steam and I still get the error the c_dlls cliedt differs from the server and occaisionaly the error that states that my map differs from the servers when i try to play ns. Why is this?

erm... do a 100% re-install..
